Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that they were forced to cancel their practice because new Covid cases inside the team have emerged.

The entire team will now go through a round of tests to evaluate the situation but tomorrow's game against Panathinaikos is now at risk of being suspended.

Euroleague had already suspended the two previous games that Maccabi were supposed to play against Baskonia for Round 19 and against ALBA Berlin for Round 20.

Maccabi are among the teams that suffered the most from Covid during this season. Before the start of the season, in fact, there was a Covid outbreak inside the team and the Israeli side basically had no preseason because of that.

The team coached by Ioannis Sfairopoulos has lost the last eight games played in the EuroLeague.
