The Los Angeles Lakers have re-signed Frenchman Sekou Doumbouya to a two-way contract, per the official club's report.

Lakers requested waivers on small forward on November 18, 2021.

Before that, the 21-year-old signed a two-way deal with the Purple & Gold on October 12. He averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block over two NBA games this season.

The 2.05-meter athlete represented the Detroit Pistons (2019-21) before coming to LA.

In 96 NBA games (30 starts) across three seasons, the 15th overall pick posted 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game.
