During last night's match between the Washington Wizards and the Oklahoma City Thunder, things got hot during halftime. According to a report from Shams Charania from The Athletic, Wizards guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and center Montrezl Harrell got into a physical altercation.

Per sources, Harrell got upset for not getting the ball during the last possession of the 2nd quarter. The two players immediately started to engage in a fiery conversation while going to the locker room.

As the talk went on, both Harrell and Caldwell-Pope took swings at each other - with neither connecting - and became entangled before their teammates had to separate them.

By the time both players reached the locker room, the altercation had already ended. Increased security was present at all times during halftime to ensure that the tensions did not flare up again.

The Wizards took a narrow win this night against the Thunder. Caldwell-Pope hit a huge three-pointer with 31.5 seconds remaining to solidify the win. He finished the game with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists on 5-for-13 shooting.

Harrel provided 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists for the team. Wizards currently sit 9th in the Eastern Conference with 21 wins and 20 losses.
