Hereda San Pablo Burgos have shaken things once again this season. After parting ways with Zan Tabak in November, the Spanish club has now fired coach Salva Maldonado as well.

"From the club, we want to thank Salva Maldonado for the work carried out throughout these weeks at the head of the team and we wish him all the luck in the world for his future, both professionally and personally," the club's official announcement states.

According to gigantes.com and BasketNews sources, the team is expected to sign Rio Breogan's former specialist Paco Olmos as their next head coach.

"He is my friend, but what a lack of respect (34 days...)", BAXI Manresa's head coach Pedro Martinez commented on Twitter after learning about the news.

Burgos are not in the best situation tournament-wise in Spain. The club now sits 17th, second-to-last, in the Spanish ACB league with 4 wins and 11 losses.

In the Basketball Champions League, Burgos now play in the play-in mini-tournament against Darussafaka Istanbul. After winning the first match, the club will travel to Turkey for the second leg on Wednesday.
