After recovering from coronavirus for the second time, FC Barcelona's head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius had his thoughts about the global pandemic that is currently locking down the world.

In the post-game press conference after the match against BAXI Manresa, Jasikevicius expressed his thoughts in Lithuanian about his current health and noted that the situation is too far-fetched.

"Everyone interprets my words however they want, but if I had gotten some kind of virus 10 years ago, we would've drunk two cups of tea and we would've gone to work," the Lithuanian specialist told Delfi.

"That would be the situation if not for all these omicrons, deltacrons, covids, and what else. I don't know who needs this thing. I disagree with lots of things," Jasikevicius expressed.

Jasikevicius comments about the pandemic start at 17:20

Jasikevicius has been hit with COVID multiple times already, with his first case being in 2020. However, the coach is unwilling to change his perspective on the matter. The Lithuanian specialist also sees that he's not being listened to sometimes.

"Every time I tell this, I don't see it mentioned or published anywhere. It seems that not everyone benefits from that," Jasikevicius ended.

Asked again about his health, the coach was blunt one more time: "As I said, two cups of tea and you go to work."

Barcelona sit atop of Euroleague standings with 15 wins in 18 games. They welcome AX Armani Exchange Milan on Tuesday in one of only four remaining games in Round 20.
