German powerhouse Bayern Munich (11-4) suffered the fourth loss of the season in the German league against Niners Chemnitz (10-5). The team coached by Andrea Trinchieri was defeated 65-63 (19-16, 12-26, 15-9, 19-12) in a nail-biting ending.

In the final 10 minutes, the team coached by Rodrigo Pastore continued to cut down the deficit and with just 25 seconds left on the clock, Trent Lockett's three-pointer gave Chemnitz the one-point advantage (65-63). Corey Walden's three-pointer for the win finished on the rim with just 7 seconds left on the clock.

In the second half, Chemnitz bounced back. In the third period, they limited Bayern Munich to only 9 points and cut down the deficit to just 5 points (51-46)

After struggling a bit in the first quarter, Bayern had a strong second quarter, scoring 26 points and limiting Chemnitz to just 12 points. The Euroleague side was led by DeShaun Thomas, who had 12 points and 4 rebounds in the first half.

Deshaun Thomas was the top scorer for Bayern Munich with 19 points (6/9 2PT, 2/6 3PT, 1/2 FT), 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. 

For Chemnitz Niners, the top scorer was Trent Lockett, who finished with 13 points (2/6 2PT, 2/3 3PT, 3/3 FT), 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
