On a rare occasion for European basketball, Efes made a trade deal with Frutti Extra Bursaspor. Efes received Egemen Guven, while in exchange Bursaspor got Tolga Gecim.
25-year-old Guven played 7 games in the EuroCup and averaged 9.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 10.4 PIR.
In the Turkish league, he averages 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds.
Gecim played in only six EuroLeague games and averaged 1.3 points and 0.7 assists. In the Turkish league, he averages 3.8 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.9 rebounds.
