While Steph Curry is playing an MVP-caliber season, another Warriors player who contributes majorly to the team's success is often forgotten.

26-year-old Andrew Wiggins has been highly efficient and is averaging 19.0 points on career-high shooting percentages: 49.2% field goals and 43.4% from 3-point range. He also adds 4.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 0.9 steals per contest.

Before coming to play on the West coast, Wiggins played five full seasons for the Minnesota Timberwolves - including an entire season with the team legend Kevin Garnett.

Garnett admitted that he has mixed feelings towards Andrew Wiggins and believes that the Canadian swingman hasn't lived up to his full potential.

"He's one of my favorite players to watch," Garnett told ESPN. "And he pisses me off at the same time because he has the ability to be on another level. Wiggs' question mark has always been consistency, not if he has the ability to be a superstar, but the consistency of being a superstar."

During his time on the same team as Wiggins, Garnett tried to "light a fire" under the 2014 first overall pick. However, it didn't work out.

"Listen, the one thing I learned about Andrew was that nothing's going to get done to Andrew until Wiggs says it's going to happen," Garnett says.

With that being said, Garnett remains a fan of Wiggins and believes that he is "a perfect fit" for the Warriors. While Wiggins didn't live up to the hype surrounding him early during his career, he is a crucial piece to the Warriors' championship aspirations.
