Last night Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki had his No. 41 jersey raised in the rafters of American Airlines Center when Luka Doncic-led Mavs welcomed the Golden State Warriors.

Memphis GrizzliesThe visitors from San Francisco paid the tribute to the iconic German basketball player, releasing the special video. Klay Thompson was one of the featured GSW's athletes there, saying Nowitzki was a picture-perfect shooter who started to change basketball trends.
"Dirk, congrats man! What an honor, I mean, you deserved it," spoke Thompson. "The greatest Maverick in the history of the franchise. In my book, you are one of the greatest shooters of all time, obviously, the greatest shooting big man of all time."
He also added one sentence, which says a lot about Nowitzki's majesty: "We (Steph and Klay) might be the Splash Bros, but you're a Splash God for what you've done for the game."
