FC Barcelona officially announced that their players Dante Exum and Michael Caicedo have tested positive for COVID-19 in a PCR test on Tuesday, January 4th.
The athletes are in good health and isolated in their homes, per the report.
The duo joined a long Barca COVID list, which includes head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, Sergi Martinez, Gael Bonilla, Brandon Davies, Nicolas Laprovittola, Nick Calathes, Kyle Kuric, Pierre Oriola, and 6 staff members.
Newcomer Exum managed to play 5 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games for Catalans this season, accumulating 4.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1 assist, and 5.6 PIR.
The 18-year-old Caicedo participated in 8 EuroLeague duels, posting the averages of 1.5 points and 0.8 rebounds.
