Hines has played with numerous high-level players in Europe, with the likes of Mike James, Nando de Colo, Cory Higgins, Will Clyburn, Nenad Krstic, Vassilis Spanoulis, and Kostas Sloukas. Nevertheless, Milos Teodosic deserved a special mention by the American center.

"Teodosic is the biggest natural talent I've ever seen on a basketball court. His ability to see things before the others and to imagine passes that no one else would ever think about, it's just unbelievable. He's a special type of player," Hines expressed.

It is currently Hines' second season in Milan. He has seen many arrivals and departures during the years he has played. This season, Devon Hall is the player that has caught his eye.

"I knew Devon Hall's qualities but I didn't expect him to be so important and ready in the key moments of the game," the American center noted. "I'm not really surprised, but I'm impressed by him."

Olimpia Milan have been affected heavily both by injuries and by COVID-19 this season. "This is neither the care nor the time for regrets and complains," Hines notes though. "To win, you often if not always go through problems."

Asked about the current situation of the league with a significant amount of match postponements, Hines mentioned and compared NBA to the European front.

"NBA continues to play even without a lot of players who are dealing with Covid, but NBA is a different world, there's much more money involved, it's a much bigger business," Hines noted. "Losing two or three games in NBA it's not a problem, in Europe is different."

Is this the last year in Kyle Hines's career? The American was categorical. "Absolutely not. I feel like I still have a lot of games in my body to offer, to play."
