AX Armani Exchange Milan forward Riccardo Moraschini announced through his Instagram profile that he has been suspended officially by the national anti-doping authority. The length of the suspension is not official yet.
Moraschini had already received a cautionary suspension and coach Messina had complained about how slowly things were moving forward in this process.
In his Instagram post, Moraschini specified that the anti-doping authority understood perfectly that he didn't take the implicated substance intentionally but after being in contact with a person who was using a spray that contained the substance.
Nevertheless, the authority decided to give the suspension to the Italian player.
