In the final quarter, after a good start from Bamberg, who also got the lead at one point (78-77), Bayern Munich got back on track and thanks to a couple of very important plays from Vladimir Lucic and Othello Hunter took a comfortable lead until the very end (95-86)

Bamberg came out strong in the second half, scoring 25 points in the third quarter and cutting down Bayern's lead to just 4 points (71-67).

In the first half, the team coached by Andrea Trinchieri shot the ball really well from outside, especially with Andreas Obst, and built a solid lead to go in the locker room (49-42).
