A very rare result was recorded in the Basketball Super League – Tofas Bursa won a game by as much as 90 points.
Tofas (8-7) demolished Afyon Belediye S.K. (3-12) 145-55 (27-15, 54-19, 35-14, 29-7) at home.
Afyon, which have been in financial trouble for some time, were abandoned by all foreigners.
In the second quarter, Bursa's club scored as many as 54 points and won the period by 35.
For the Turkish athletes-based Afyon team, the 21-year-old Bilgehan Diril scored 14 points, his peer Huseyin Cevirgen added 10 points, as did 19-year-old Alp Ozbudak.
Kasey Shepherd and Tomislav Zubcic led the route for the winners with 21 points apiece, while Elgin Cook had 20 points in his resume.
In Tofas Bursa, all 12 basketball athletes scored at least 4 points each.
