One day after their Greek Cup quarter-final against Ionikos Nikaia (110-85), Olympiacos Piraeus announced four positive COVID cases.
"Olympiacos BC announces that four other members of the team tested positive for Covid- 19. All confirmed cases have been isolated and follow the instructions of the authorities.
The remaining members of the team will undergo a new test tomorrow," the club mentioned.
For now, Thomas Walkup, who is facing a health problem, is out ahead of the Euroleague Round 18 game against CSKA Moscow on December 29, while Kostas Sloukas is suffering from some side effects after he received the third dose of the anti-COVID vaccine.
Quincy Acy, who had been hospitalized with acute tonsillitis and will try to make his team's next contest.
