The Indiana Pacers waived guard Brad Wanamaker and signed guard Keifer Sykes from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League, the franchise announced Monday.
Wanamaker, 32, has averaged 3.5 points, 2.2 assists and 13.3 minutes in 22 games (one start) in his first season in Indiana.
He has played in 190 NBA games with the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Pacers. Wanamaker appeared in 22 games and made one start for the Pacers after he was signed on Oct. 6.
Sykes appeared in two preseason games for the Pacers prior to the start of the 2021-22 regular season. He started 13 games this year for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers' affiliate in the NBA G League.
The former EuroLeague guard is in his seventh professional season after competing in the NBA G League as well as leagues in South Korea, Turkey, Italy, China, Greece and Australia.
