After Isaiah Thomas, Lance Stephenson, Mario Chalmers, Nik Stauskas, Michael Beasley and Shabazz Muhammad, it's the turn of another former NBAer, looking for a return to the NBA, to sign in the G-League: Kenneth Faried.
Marc Stein reports that the former CSKA Moscow big man has signed a contract in the G-League and if no one claims him during the waivers period (48 hours) he will be able to sign wherever he wants.
The 2014 World Champion with Team USA recently was released by CSKA Moscow after a whirlwind stint in Puerto Rico (in 3 games, he averaged 12 points on 55.2% shooting, 9.3 rebounds, and 2 assists).
With the Russian club, Faried played 11 matches, 7 of them in the Euroleague, averaging only 2.3 points on 31.2% from the field and 2.6 rebounds in 7.7 minutes.
