Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (3-5) prevailed Valencia Basket (4-3) 97-85 (24-22, 19-22, 27-20, 27-21) to skid their five 7DAYS EuroCup games losing streak.
Both squads were trading baskets in the fourth quarter but Cedevita Olimpija managed to perform a 6-0 push and build a double-digit lead (88-77) with 2:40 to go in the game. Edo Muric and Jaka Blazic scored a couple of important buckets for the Slovenian squad.
Valencia could not restore the intrigue as Cedevita Olimpija were holding the initiative in their hands during the last two minutes.
Jaka Blazic was very effective for Olimpija, posting 24 points (5/8 2PT, 2/6 3PT, 8/12 FT), 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers, 10 drawn fouls, and 31 PIR.

After the close first half, ending 44-43 for Valencia, Cedevita Olimpija pushed the gas pedal at the start of the third period. They organized a massive 16-0 run and gained a 12-point lead (59-47). Yogi Ferrell and Jaka Blazic were leading the way.
Though, the Oranges closed the quarter better and cut their deficit to 6 points (64-70) before the decisive 10 minutes of the game.
