CSKA Moscow (6-2) thrashed Zielona Gora (1-9) 93-59 (23-19, 32-13, 20-5, 18-2) on the road in a game that was competitive in its first ten minutes.

Iffe Lundberg scored 18 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished as many assists for the winners. Semen Antonov added 14 and Nikola Milutinov logged 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nemanja Nenadic with 16 points, 5 assists was Zielona Gora's most productive player, while Dragan Apic had 14 points and 6 rebounds.

CSKA were able to snap a two-game losing streak in the previous match against Lokomotiv-Kuban. In contrast, the Polish side came to that game off the back of one win in nine games, occupying the penultimate place in the table.

The Lundberg-Milutinov duo combined for CSKA's first 9 points. The Russian powerhouse led 11-2 three minutes after tip-off. The guests recovered quite quickly and tried to adjust to the game. Antonov and Grigonis helped CSKA maintain the lead (23-19).

The game broke open in the third quarter when CSKA went off on a 19-0 run that catapulted them to +23 (55-32).

It's noteworthy that three months ago, CSKA had prevailed over Zielona Gora with exactly the same margin (+34) in a 105-71 win. Back then, Lundberg had logged 12 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds against his former team.
