In the final quarter, it was Milos Teodosic that led Virtus Bologna to the win. With a couple of three-pointers and his assists, the Serbian point guard was absolutely clutch for the team coached by Sergio Scariolo. 

In the third quarter, Virtus found some energies from the bench, especially from Ty-Shon Alexander but Fortitudo remained close, with a great effort from Grosselle and Durham. 

In the first half, Fortitudo Bologna did a very good job in staying the game, mostly because of the scoring abilities of James Feldeine and Pietro Aradori.
