Euroleague club Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (12-1) conquered victory number twelve of the season in the Turkish league over Tofas Bursa (7-6). Sasha Djorjdevic's side won comfortably with the final score of 80-68 (25-16, 19-19, 20-15, 16-19)
Despite a push to come back at the beginning of the fourth period, cutting down the lead to 8 points (64-56), Tofas couldn't keep up with Fener. The black & yellow side extended their lead to 17 points (80-63) and Tofas wasn't unable to react once again.
In the third quarter, Fener extended their lead over Tofas, reaching a maximum of 14 points (64-50). Tofas struggled to find the right answers defensively and the combination of Dysahwn Pierre and Jan Vesely in the frontcourt was often too hard to handle for them.
In the first half, Fenerbahce found a good groove offensively, scoring 25 points in the first quarter, led mostly by Pierria Henry (11 points at the half) and Jan Vesely (9 points at the half). The team coached by Sasha Djordjevic ended the first half with a comfortable lead (44-35).
