Zalgiris Kaunas lost Regimantas Miniotas, who seriously injured his hand in the practice, right before the trip to Kazan, according to the official report.
"Unfortunately, he (Regimantas Miniotas) has problems with a hand. He just suffered a setback during a practice. We will see what happened, but I do not believe that he will be able to fly with us to Kazan," Jure Zdovc told BasketNews.
Tomorrow, Zalgiris will play their second Turkish Airlines EuroLeague double-week game against UNICS Kazan. The duel starts at 17:00 CET.
The Lithuanian powerhouse is also missing Joffrey Lauvergne and Paulius Jankunas in the big men department.
The French center is back to working out after a shoulder injury but is not expected to play yet. Team captain Paulius Jankunas is still sidelined after meniscus surgery.
Regimantas Miniotas, who arrived in Kaunas on November 18, is averaging 2 points and 1 rebound in four EuroLeague games (5.5 minutes) and posting 6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over three Lithuanian Basketball League contests (12.3 minutes).
