FC Bayern Munich (9-2) prevailed over German rivals ALBA Berlin (6-4) 80-74 (22-16, 16-25, 18-19, 17-20) for the second time this season.

Following their EuroLeague victory, Andrea Trinchieri's men took control of another game against a home team that played without their star, Luke Sikma, as well as center Christ Koumadje.

Nick Weiler-Babb scored his season-high 18 points on his 26th birthday. Vladimir Lucic logged another 17 and Ognjen Jaramaz chipped in 14 more points for the winning side. 

Deshaun Thomas and newcomer K.C. Rivers did not dress for the visitors, while Darrun Hilliard, Leon Radosevic, and Paul Zipser are still on the injury list.

Roughly 2,500 spectators in Berlin watched former Bayern point guard Maodo Lo go for 17 points and Johannes Thiemann follow with another eleven points, to no particular effect.

Bayern came back from a nine-point deficit in the second quarter and retained control for the remainder of the game.
