SIG Strasbourg (7-3) relied on an excellent third quarter and John Roberson's 23-point performance to beat AS Monaco (8-3) 98-90 (28-26, 21-23, 27-15, 23-26).

The team coached by Zvezdan Mitrovic are going through a slump lately, despite coming off three straight home wins in the French League. Monaco started off the EuroLeague season at 4-4 and now they stand at 5-9.

Without Leo Westermann, Jerry Boutsiele and Rob Gray who stayed in the principality and with Will Thomas and Mike James dressed in civilian clothes on the bench, the Roca Team still looked very good at the beginning (0-5).

However, Strasbourg SIG were able to count on John Roberson (23pts-7 rebounds), Leopold Cavaliere (14pts-7 rebounds) and Matt Mitchell (16 points) as the visitors struggled defensively throughout the entire game.

On the other end, Strasbourg went 10/26 from behind the arc and showcased a perfect 23/23 from the free-throw line.

Tony Crocker, who arrived on October 7 as Jarell Eddie's step-in, took part in his 8th and last Betclic ELITE match with SIG Strasbourg (11.2 points – 3.1 assists – 2.3 rebounds).

Paris Lee and Danilo Andjusic each scored 16 points, while Donatas Motiejunas chipped in 15 in Monaco's losing effort in front of 6.000 Strasbourg fans.

SIG Strasbourg: John Roberson 23 (6/16 FG, 7/7 FT, 7 AST), Matt Mitchell 16 (5/9 FG, 6/6 FT), Leopold Cavaliere 14 (7/9 FG, 7 REB), Jaromir Bohacik 13 (4/7 FG, 2/2 FT, 6 REB), Yannis Morin 8 (7 REB).

AS Monaco: Paris Lee 16 (5/9 FG, 2 REB, 4 AST), Danilo Andjusic 16 (4/12 FG, 6/6 FT), Donatas Motiejunas 15 (6/9 FG, 1/2 FT, 6 REB), Rudy Demahis-Ballou 11, Alpha Diallo 10.
