Virtus Bologna have received some troubling news from the doctors. The club announced that Kevin Hervey and Nico Mannion suffered injuries that will keep them out of action until next year.
Hervey suffered a right knee meniscus tear and will be out until February. The 25-year-old is the scoring leader for Virtus in the EuroCup this season. He is averaging 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.0 steals, and 17.4 PIR.
Meanwhile, Virtus' prospect Nico Mannion received treatments for his back issues and will be out until the beginning of January. It has been a tough season for Mannion so far - the 20-year-old has been dealing with health issues all season.
Mannion is averaging 2.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per 11.1 minutes in the EuroCup this year.
Virtus are 4-2 in the EuroCup so far. They will face Promitheas Patras at home on Wednesday.
