Sam Van Rossom underwent a PCR test after Saturday's game at the Urbas Fuenlabrada court and ended up with a positive result, via the official Valencia Basket report.
Following the established protocol, the Belgian guard immediately isolated himself. Now, he is at his home, in good condition.
According to the statement, the rest of the players and coaching staff underwent a backup PCR test on Sunday in which all results were negative. The team traveled to Venice this morning to will play their 7DAYS EuroCup game tomorrow (versus Umana Reyer).
Valencia are also forced to play without Nenad Dimitrijevic and Victor Claver who are injured.
Van Rossom is averaging 10.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1 steal, and 15 PIR over 4 EuroCup games (20 minutes of playing time).
