The Red Star organized a 14-0 spurt in the second quarter and gained a double-digit lead (33-21).
Even though Cibona cut the deficit to just 3 points at the start of the third period, Zvezda rebuilt their tangible lead (60-48) and never let their opponents think about the victory in the decisive 10 minutes of the game.
Nikola Ivanovic and Nikola Kalinic led the route for Crvena Zvezda, scoring 15 points each. Kalinic added 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, 3 drawn fouls, and a team-high 22 PIR.
