Dallas Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic will sit out Saturday's home game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to left ankle soreness.
The Mavericks also announced Kristaps Porzingis (left knee contusion) and fellow center Willie Cauley-Stein (personal reasons) will not play against the Grizzlies.
Dallas has lost six of its past eight games after dropping the back end of a home-and-home series against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. The Mavericks posted a 139-107 win in New Orleans on Wednesday before opening a three-game homestand two nights later with a 107-91 setback.
Doncic followed a 28-point, 14-assist performance in the first clash with the Pelicans by collecting 21 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in the rematch.
Doncic, 22, averages team-best totals in points (25.4), assists (8.5), and rebounds (8.1) this season.
Porzingis, 26, sat out Friday's game with his knee injury. He has chipped in 19.7 points to go along with 8.0 rebounds and a team-best 1.7 blocks per contest this season.
Cauley-Stein, 28, averages 1.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game this season.
