After edging out MontenegroFrance (2-0) crushed Hungary (1-1) 78-54 (21-8, 24-21, 18-9, 15-16) to stay perfect in the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers.

France pushed the accelerator pedal right away from the first seconds. Les Bleus led by Louis Labeyrie and Terry Tarpey organized an 18-4 opening and never looked back.
