AX Armani Exchange Milan suffered a heavy home loss against Olympiacos last night and coach Ettore Messina didn't hide from responsibility after the game.

The Italian head coach said that the lack of defensive organization shown by his team was his full responsibility: "We didn't show enough defensive organization for a game like this one and that's my responsibility. We'll make sure that this won't happen again", coach Messina explained.
"They have created opportunities driving to the basket and kicking the ball on the perimeter, while our defense against drives to the basketball and in pick & roll situations was mediocre", coach Messina continued.
Milan is dealing with the injury of Konstantinos Mitoglou, who's gonna be out for at least a couple of months. They already added a new player, Tommaso Baldasso, to give more depth to the rotations in the Italian league but a replacement for Mitoglou is still needed.
"The biggest issue that we need to resolve is that we need to find a solution for the long absence of Mitoglou. If we don't, in three months Melli will have too many minutes in his legs. We're looking around to find a solution. For the rest, we did what we needed to do, adding another Italian player", coach Messina said after the game.
This is the third straight loss in EuroLeague for AX Armani Exchange but coach Messina doesn't believe that his team is in a crisis.
"Having bad games in such a long season, it's normal", Messina said. "Our goal is to reach the playoffs, we started well and we beat great teams. Now we need to get back on track".
