In Group B of the World Cup Qualifiers, Great Britain (1-0) upset Greece (0-1) and conquered a surprising win for 78-69 (23-23, 10-15, 23-19, 22-12).

In the last two minutes, Greece tried to rally back into the game but Great Britain maintained control and sealed a very important victory

Greece entered the final quarter with just a one-point lead but Great Britain showed more rhythm and defensive energy. With an 11-0 run, led by Okereafor and Phillip, Great Britain took control of the game (71-60) with less than 5 minutes remaining. 

Greece started the second half strong and had a 10-0 run that gave them a 15-point advantage (48-33). But Great Britain didn't give up so easily and later in the third answered with a 12-3 run of their own, to cut Greece's lead to just 3 points (51-48).

Teddy Okereafor was the top scorer for Great Britain with 19 points (3/5 2PT, 4/4 3PT, 1/2 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, and 27 EFF.

Dimitrios Agravanis was the top scorer for Greece with 19 points (5/9 2PT, 1/2 3PT, 6/7 FT), 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block, and 25 EFF.
