EuroLeague Basketball has announced the disciplinary sanctions. They include fines for Greek basketball people Georgios Bartzokas, Dimitris Priftis, and Dimitris Giannakopoulos.
Georgios Bartzokas, head coach of Olympiacos Piraeus, has been sanctioned with a fine of €4,500 for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on the occasion of its away game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 27.2.b) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Dimitris Priftis, head coach of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, has been sanctioned with a fine of €3,000 for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on the occasion of its away game against FC Bayern Munich under Article 27.2.b) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos, individual associated with Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, has been sanctioned with a fine of €140,000 for statements proven offensive to EuroLeague Basketball competitions and its managing authorities, in accordance with Article 24.1.g) of the EuroLeague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
