Spanish side Coosur Real Betis and head coach Joan Plaza have officially parted ways, the team announced in a press release.

Plaza, who originally became the head coach of Betis in November of last year, has been struggling to produce results this season.

Betis is currently at the bottom of the Spanish ACB with just two wins in 11 games.

Before joining Betis, Joan Plaza spent two years as head coach of Russian club Zenit St.Petersburg.

Former Unicaja Malaga head coach Luis Casimiro looks like the clear frontrunner to become the new head coach of Real Betis, according to multiple reports out of Spain.
