Vincent Collet, France's NT head coach, confirmed that point guard Andrew Albicy might miss the first games of the qualifying window for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The player was absent in Gran Canaria's last game in ACB and he's dealing with a hamstring injury.
"I'm afraid for the situation of my leaders", Collet told to L'Equipe. France is already sure to not have both Elie Okobo and Leo Westermann.
Especially for the first game against Montenegro, France could have very limited rotations available.
Albicy is averaging 5.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game so far in the ACB.
