With Nikola Jokic is currently out, the Denver Nuggets might face further injury issues. Michael Porter Jr has been out since November 6 with a back injury, now, according to the Denver Post, it looks like the situation might be even worse.

Per the Denver Post, in fact, Michael Porter Jr has a nerve issue in his back and might sit out for the remainder of the season. Despite being only 23-years-old, Porter Jr underwent already two back surgeries, one in college and another one during his rookie season.

In September, the Nuggets signed Porter to a five-year $145 million contract extension, which is almost fully guaranteed.

So far, Porter is averaging 9.9 points per game while shooting 36% from the field.
