FC Barcelona (10-1) overtook CB San Pablo Burgos (3-8) 83-69 (21-16, 18-17, 20-22, 24-14) and joined Real Madrid at the top of the Liga ACB table.
Barca got their third victory of the week on both fronts.
After an 8-0 run at the start of the third quarter, Barcelona created a solid 14-point advantage (47-33). However, Burgos answered with a 15-2 push on their own to gain a 2-point lead (55-53). Sarunas Jasikevicius' squad closed the third period better and had a 4-point advantage (59-55), going into the final 10 minutes.
The game went close in the last quarter but Barca managed to create a 9-point lead (75-66) with 1:33 to play, after Nikola Mirotic's two-pointer in a fast-break attack. Barcelona got a stop and Rokas Jokubaitis closed the game with 2+1 (77-66).
For Barca, Sertac Sanli posted a double-double with 19 points (6/6 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 1/2 FT), 11 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Rokas Jokubaitis added 18 points (7/10 2PT, 0/2 3PT, 4/6 FT), 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Nick Calathes missed the game for Barcelona due to injury.
