The Washington Wizards power forward Davis Bertans should be active again at some point next week, via The Washington Post.
Bertans sprained his left ankle in a game in Atlanta on November 1. Before the injury, the 29-year-old Latvian athlete averaged 6.1 points and 1.7 rebounds over 7 matches.
"I’m not sure at what point [he’ll return], but he’s progressing nicely, doing more every day," said Wizards' bench boss Wes Unseld Jr. "So I would foresee it happening this upcoming week."
Washington plays Charlotte on Monday before kicking off a four-game road trip in New Orleans on Wednesday.
The Washington club has a record of 11 wins and 5 losses. Wizards are sharing 2-3 place with the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference.
