FC Bayern Munich (6-2) eased past BG Gottingen (4-3) 80-66 (20-15, 14-18, 26-14, 20-19) in the German Basketball Bundesliga.
It was their third victory this week, after winning two games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens.
Bayern broke the game to their side at the end of the third quarter. Andrea Trinchieri's squad spurted 14-5 and gained a solid 13-point advantage (60-47). In the decisive period, Bayern did not let their opponents retake control of the game.
Deshaun Thomas was a top scorer for Bayern, posting 18 points (4/8 2PT, 2/6 3PT, 4/7 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 13 PIR.
Othello Hunter, Vladimir Lucic, Paul Zipser, Zan Sisko, and Leon Radosevic missed the game for Bayern.
