Labas GAS Prienai backcourt line is strengthened by the basketball player who has attracted the biggest European clubs' attention.

According to BasketNews sources, Stefan Peno is coming to Lithuania. He belongs to ALBA Berlin since 2017.

Last year, the 24-year-old signed a new three-year contract with ALBA. In the 2020-21 campaign, he was leased to RASTA Vechta.

In the German Basketball Bundesliga, Peno averaged 5.3 points, 2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.7 turnovers over 19 minutes.

He played in the main ALBA Berlin line-up in 2017-20, the last of which was marred by a serious knee injury. However, the 24-year-old returned to the final round of the German League playoffs and became the champion with ALBA.

In the 2018-19 season, representing ALBA in the EuroCup, Peno posted 5.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.

The 2.01-meter guard took his first basketball steps in the OKK Beograd system. Since 2011, he moved to the FC Barcelona organization.

In 2013-16, the athlete kept improving with Barcelona youths, while in 2016-17, Peno joined the main team with Georgios Bartzokas at the helm.

He played 10 EuroLeague matches and registered 1.1 points, 0.6 boards, and 0.5 assists over 4 minutes of playing.
