Malcolm Delaney is expected to be back on November 26, when AX Armani Exchange Milan will play against Olympiacos Piraeus, via the post-game conference.
After the victorious game versus Reggio Emilia, Ettore Messina said on Delaney's recovery: “He is on time and he will do further tests. From this week he will work individually and from the next one, Malcolm will return to the team training.
He is responding well, Delaney also seems very determined to return as soon as possible. If everything goes well, he will get a few minutes in the match against Olympiacos.”
Malcolm Delaney suffered a strain on the hamstring during the closing minutes of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 5 game on October 21.
In 5 EuroLeague games this season, the 32-year-old averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 9.8 EFF.
AX Armani Exchange Milan (8-1) are the current leaders of the 2021-22 EuroLeague campaign. The Italian powerhouse will face UNICS Kazan (Wednesday) and Zenit Saint Petersburg (Friday) this week.
