The long-awaited Serbian derby between Crvena Zvezda mts and Partizan NIS Belgrade often features intense rivalries between opposing fans.
Sunday's game was no exception. Crvena Zvezda fans started to chant insults fiercely towards Obradovic during the warm-up.
However, Crvena Zvezda's head coach Dejan Radonjic immediately responded, gesturing to the fans to stop the chants.
Recently, Zeljko Obradovic had to calm down Partizan fans, who started chanting derogatorily against Vesna Covic. She is the wife of Nebojsa Covic, the president of Crvena Zvezda and owner of the FMP.
Coach Zeljko Obradovic confronted the fans, pointing and screaming at them. After the game, he addressed it in the post-game press conference.
"I came back here to work after a long time, and I said at the introductory Partizan press conference how I would behave and how I would try to influence my players, people who work at Partizan, and the fans. Whether I can do it or not is another question. I always tried to behave correctly."
