After recording their worst start in EuroLeague history, Zalgiris Kaunas are going towards the worst beginning of the season overall.

After the defeat against Real Madrid, which was ninth this season, only five teams had a worse start than Zalgiris.

The worst start in EuroLeague history was recorded back in the 2001-02 season when London Towers finished the regular season without a win (0-14).

Meanwhile, Le Mans began its 2007-08 season campaign with a 0-12 record, whilst Dinamo Sassari (2015-16 season), Cibona Zagreb (2010-11), and Ovarense Aerosoles (2000-01) started their seasons with a 0-10 record.

Zalgiris will play the upcoming six games against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, FC Barcelona, Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, CSKA Moscow, and Monaco Basket.
