"Now I know I don’t say much in public about officiating or on social but tonight was the worst I’ve seen in my whole career. EuroLeague, I’ll send you the fine money in the morning," Bayern Munich center wrote before personifying the issue and focusing on the head referee of the game, Slovenian Matej Boltauzer.
"It’s clear that the ego of the head referee in this game clouded his judgment. That was disrespectful to my team. We give you’ll too much respect and get fined for saying you were horrible but today I don’t care. Respect the game we love and do better," the 35-year-old big concluded.
Adding insult to injury, Mat Janning, a former EuroLeague player who is now playing in China, cited Hunter's tweet, pointing out that he was "not surprised at all to see who was head ref. That guy has ruined many close games thinking people came to watch him."
Furthermore, he made clear that Boltauzer is the referee in question.
