After signing Mathias Lessort to a two-month contract, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv are expected to part ways with the Frenchman.
According to Israel Hayoms’ Yakov Meir, if all Maccabi’s players remain healthy, the contract with Lessort won’t be extended.
25-year-old forward signed a two-month contract at the end of September after Ante Zizic suffered an injury. However, the Croatian forward is already back in the lineup.
Lessort is averaging 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 9.2 PIR after five EuroLeague games this season.
Lessort represented AS Monaco last season, helping them claim the 7DAYS EuroCup title. The 25-year-old averaged 12.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 17.8 PIR over 24.5 minutes in the EuroCup.
The 2.06 m big man also recorded 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks over 2 EuroCup finals games against UNICS Kazan.
