Bad news for Valencia Basket. The Spanish side won't have big man Mike Tobey for at least one month. Tobey underwent surgery today for an issue at his pubis that has been bothering the player for several months.

Initially, Valencia and the player opted for a conservative treatment but unfortunately, that solution didn't give enough results so the player was forced to have surgery.
Tobey, so far, was able to play only one game in the ACB, finishing with 12 points and 2 rebounds.
During the Olympic Games, Tobey averaged 13.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game with the Slovenian NT.
