Hapoel Holon (4-1) overcame Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (3-2) 88-82 (19-27, 24-13, 22-22, 23-20) to hand the Yellows their second Israeli Basketball Premier League loss.

Maccabi created a double-digit lead in the first quarter (21-11) but Hapoel retook control of the game in the second, being in front by 3 points after 20 minutes of playing time (43-40).

After an even third period, Hapoel Holon played a better stretch in the decisive 10 minutes and fended off Maccabi's pressure.
