Andrew Wiggins (16 points), Otto Porter Jr. (15) and Gary Payton II (10) also scored in double figures for Golden State, which won its fourth straight to improve its best-in-the-NBA record to 8-1.

Jae'Sean Tate finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets, who fell for the second time in two days and have lost eight straight games.

After putting up 69 points in the first half, the Warriors led just 83-80 after a Christian Wood dunk with 5:06 remaining in the third quarter.

But Nemanja Bjelica nailed a pair of 3-pointers and Payton chipped in with two hoops during a 15-0 flurry that broke the game open.

Golden State, which hosts the Atlanta Hawks on the second night of a home back-to-back on Monday, was able to empty the bench in the fourth quarter.

In outscoring Curry for the third straight game, Poole shot 7-for-13 and also found time for five assists.

Porter hit five 3-pointers in seven tries to account for all his scoring and Curry added four in 11 attempts, helping Golden State outscore the Rockets 45-30 from beyond the arc.

Porter was Golden State's top rebounder with nine, while Draymond Green accumulated a game-high nine assists to go with eight rebounds and six points.

Tate's double-double was his second of the season. He had three in 70 games as a rookie last year.

Daniel Theis had 14 points, Alperen Sengun 12 and Kevin Porter Jr. and D.J. Augustin 11 apiece for the Rockets, who completed an 0-5 trip.

Jalen Green, a Northern California product making his San Francisco debut as an NBA player, totaled just nine points on 4-for-12 shooting. He missed five of his six 3-point attempts.

The Warriors outshot the Rockets 51.8 percent to 45.6 percent.
