Promitheas Patras found a new head coach after Luis Casimiro was dismissed following the team's 30-point loss to Bourg in the 7DAYS EuroCup.

Frutti Extra BursaGreek specialist Ilias Zouros will take over the leadership of Promitheas. The team is currently 0-3 in the EuroCup.
Zouros has been coaching since 1986. He has led teams like Olympiacos Piraeus, Zalgiris Kaunas, and Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
He has also been the head coach of the Georgian NT since 2016.
Zouros already has coached in the EuroCup before. His last appearance in the tournament was back in 2016-17 when he represented Buducnost Podgorica.
