The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Boston Celtics after Luka Doncic hit a last-second buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of regulation. With this shot, he cemented himself in NBA history as one of the most clutch shot-makers.
Tonight's shot by Doncic is the third game-winner in his career, including the playoffs. He tied Dirk Nowitzki for most game-winning shots in Mavericks history.
All three of Doncic's shots were 3-pointers. Only Vince Carter has more such game-winning buzzer-beaters in NBA history, with five.
The Mavericks are 6-3 so far this season. Doncic is averaging 24.9 points (28.8% 3PT), 8.3 rebounds, and 6.9 assists.
