Having back problems at the start of the 2021-22 season, the 33-year-old underwent surgery on Tuesday which went perfectly, via the report.

Back on September 20, Raymar Morgan was down with recurrent back pain and was sidelined without playing a single official game for ASVEL.

The big man was a member of Pinar Karsiyaka last year, where he averaged 17.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 20.6 EFF over 26.6 minutes in the FIBA Champions League.

In the Turkish Basketball Super League, Morgan accumulated 15.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 19.2 EFF over 25.2 minutes.

The 2.04-meter power forward played four years with the Michigan State Spartans before starting his professional career in Europe.

Morgan has played in Israel (Maccabi Rishon, Elizur Ashkelon), Germany (BG Gottingen, Ratiopharm Ulm), Turkey (Tofas Bursa), and Russia (UNICS Kazan).
